Hi Friends! Ever Wonder what to do if you can’t find boxed egg dye anywhere?
You can dye your eggs by creating natural dyes!
There are hundreds of wild plants that can be used to create beautiful dyes, but today we’ll focus on items you can find in your own home or at the grocery store.
NATURAL DYE INGREDIENTS

Beets
-
Blueberries
-
Onions
-
Parsley
-
Red cabbage
-
Red wine
-
Spinach
-
Turmeric
Color Glossary
-
Pink: 4 cups chopped beets
-
Orange: 4 cups onion skins (skins of about 12 onions)

Yellow: 3 tablespoons turmeric
-
Green: 1 bunch parsley or 2 cups spinach.

Teal/blue: 4 cups chopped cabbage
-
Deep blue: 4 cups blueberries.

Dark purple: 1 bottle red wine instead of water
-
Brown: 1 quart strong black coffee instead of water
